The Museum incorporates the history of ceramics in Taiwan, from prehistory to the present day, and looks towards the future.
The scope of works included design of the masterplan footprint and visitor flow of five main galleries, the development of all graphic information, the colour palette and lighting design.
Interpretation included a ‘kiln experience’; a ‘hands-on’ children’s space, using clay in the form of mud pits; and teacher-involved educational experiences. An audio-visual component was designed in conjunction with Australian Business Theatre.
