BURRELL TWYCROSS COLLECTION

The Visions of Port Phillip exhibition displays a collection of outstanding photographs by John Twycross of Port Phillip Bay and the Mornington Peninsular in the early 20th Century.

Built in 1844, McCrae Homestead on the Mornington Peninsular is one of Victoria's oldest homesteads. Now a National Trust of Australia site, it is a physical reminder of early pioneering life.

The new Burrell Twycross Gallery, part of the McCrae Homestead Visitor Centre, tells the story of the Burrell family who lived at the Arthurs Seat cottage for seventy years.
