THE CUTTING PROTOTYPE

As part of the entry precinct to the Visitor Centre at the National Arboretum Canberra, DLD has developed a dynamic display along more than 40m of gabion rock wall.

The interpretive concept uses fossil imagery and information embedded into glass panels, about each of the species that have been planted at the Arboretum.

The prototype features the Ginkgo, with photographic imagery and ceraphic screenprints on the face of the glass. Spectacular lighting makes the display come to life.
