POINT NEPEAN

Point Nepean Nation Park was opened to the public in December 2009. Since this time, Parks Victoria has been developing a number of projects in order to create a richer visitor experience, and to educate people about the site’s history.

In the empty halls of the main Hospital Building, DLD has created a vibrant and graphic display to liven the space.

A large timeline adorns the wall with details of the building’s usage over time.

Text covers the floor, with a first-hand account of life at the Quarantine Station.

Large coloured banners help to further tell the story of the site with imagery and key words illustrating the people who have passed through over time.

Content was developed in collaboration with Peter Emmett.
